In the summer of 2021, the Dixie wildfire burned across California and became the largest wildfire in the state’s history. Since 1932, 17/20 of the largest recorded California wildfires have occurred in the last 18 years. This interactive visual was design to help individuals grasp this reality. By paging or scrolling through the visual, the user can see that the number and size of wildfires increases.
